Created in 2002 by Vietnamese diaspora students at Harvard University, VietHope sought to resolve institutional educational disparities in Vietnam. The group’s mandate—to enable impoverished students through entry to schooling—arises from recognition that economic hardship remains the main barrier to scholastic continuation.

1. Higher education Scholarship Program (University Support Program):
